We’re making an important update to improve efficiency, consistency, and patient experience across your facility.

Crown is transitioning from green patient gowns and purple IV gowns to a universal blue triangle gown. Many of our customers already use this gown, so for some there will be no change.

This gown features a plastic snap design that allows it to serve as both a standard patient gown and an IV gown — eliminating the need to stock and manage two separate items.

Why this change matters:

• One Gown for Most Patients: IV-ready for every patient. No pre-procedure changes needed with procedure-friendly plastic snaps. 
• Saves Nursing Time: Fewer gown changes. Smoother workflow.
• Less Patient Disruption: Improves comfort and overall experience.
• More Durable & Fade Resistant: Designed to hold up longer and maintain a clean, professional appearance. 
• One Universal Solution!

For facilities with specific needs, non-IV gown options will continue to be available.

Many of our processing facilities will transition to this gown by the end of the year. For those impacted, your Customer Service team will reach out to coordinate your transition schedule. This change will not impact health systems that use custom-printed patient gowns.
